I am in charge of product planning of specialty vehicles. Development, production, and marketing are swayed by our product plan, so I feel heavy responsibility on my shoulders, but for this reason I feel my work worthwhile. When I see an AUTECH vehicle on a street, I wonder what type of customer is driving it and if it is the same as the target customer I planned. I want to satisfy the needs of as many customers as possible, even if it's only one, by designing cars with AUTECH's full attention to detail.

SV Product Planning Department

I strive to create new ideas while always keeping in mind that "there is always more than one answer". I always try not to get stuck on special ideas but try to think about "what change this vehicle may bring to the customer's car life". I want to create products that surpass the boundaries of time and place, and that fuel new communications and enjoyment. That is my objective.

Design Department

I specialize in the design and development of interior parts for specialty vehicles. I develop the parts balancing cost, layout and production methods from the phase of design sketches. It's often hard work, but there is no substitute for the joy of watching the parts I have developed take shape and holding them in my hands. Autech's strength is outstanding capability to offer customized vehicles that satisfies various customer needs. I shall continue without fear of failure to challenge in development of parts that communicate greater value to our customers.

R&D Division
(Conversion and Accessory)

I specialize in the design and development of specialty vehicles. In addition to interior and exterior parts, such as the bumpers and seats, I also take charge of the development of electrical parts like car navigation and audio, so I need to have my finger on the pulse of the latest technologies in various fields. My current objective is to become a project leader having full expertise in my own field and to be trusted by those around me. In the future, I would also like be involved in business outside Japan.

I am in charge of development and engineering of Chair Cabs (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles). A special thing with Chair Cab development is that the body structure and equipment need to be developed taking various types of wheelchairs into consideration. We analyze the diversified needs of customers and package many functions into a single vehicle, and that vehicle brings joy and pleasure to the customer. I feel this work is fulfilling a dream and is very worthwhile. Every day, I strive to develop a Chair Cab which makes customers think "I want to go out in my Nissan LV."

R&D Division
(Life Care Vehicles)

Until I joined AUTECH, I had absolutely no knowledge about motor vehicles. Every time I participate in testing at our test course and facilities with my superiors in the department, I always recognize the depth of technical knowledge of those around me, and of my own deficiencies. Even so, when I see a car I have worked on, I remember the process leading to the completion of that vehicle, and I sprint around to see the car speed away.

Test Department

I check and evaluate product durability, safety, and marketability. I was happy to find a newspaper article written about the products with which I was involved. In working, I always try to see the things from the end user's perspective. I would like to contribute to society by adopting a broader approach to motor vehicle production without sticking to conventional stereotypes.

I perform audits and inspections to maintain and improve parts quality. I resolve quality issues by teaming up with the relevant departments, and when we can deliver better quality products to our customers, it brings great rewards for me. There is no end in the job quality assurance. I work every day targeting to win trust from customers by delivering products with good stable quality realized through continuous efforts for improvement.

Quality Assurance Division

I oversee the process from vehicle acceptance to customization and shipment, and I make vehicle and parts production plans and release manufacturing instructions on the production line, for example. I always keep in mind that "there are always customers waiting for our work". My current objective is to meet the needs of our customers by proposing the most effective and flexible production plans for vehicles and parts.

Production Control Department

I am a member of the team supervising the production of LV and SV vehicles. What is interesting for me is to be involved in the production of numerous parts on a small scale, which the large manufacturers cannot do. When a concept car was displayed at the Tokyo Auto Salon, with which I was personally involved, I felt immense pride. I want to keep my passion for motor vehicle production in mind to provide cars that meet the diversified needs of the customer and quality requirements.

Production Division

I am in charge of the marketing of Life Care vehicles. The attraction of this job lies in the great possibility of changing the living environment of people with a mobility disadvantage by informing more customers about life care vehicles and getting them to use them. Not satisfied with being a manufacturer or vendor, I always try to see things from the customer's viewpoint.

LV Product Planning &
Sales Promotion Department

I am in charge of advertising. I meet with the media and journalists and these meetings bring plenty of excitement to me every day. When our products are splashed across newspapers and magazines, I am filled with great pleasure. It is my goal to continue communicating the quality of AUTECH vehicles under my motto of "Honesty".

Marketing Division

I am in charge of supporting operations concerning AUTECH JAPAN's "people", such as recruitment, health and welfare, training, etc. Working in human resources affords many opportunities to come into direct contact with people, both inside and outside the company. I meet many people with diverse careers who have various values and concepts about life, and I learn a wide variety of views and ideas. I want to be an "Interviewer" for recruitment someday while striving for open and heartfelt responsiveness every day.
